With the development of the national low carbon strategy, new energy is rising rapidly, among which photovoltaic grid connected power generation is developing rapidly and maturely in various places, power generation efficiency is constantly improving, and system voltage is also diversified. The battery panel components should be exposed to the sun to the greatest extent, so that the outdoor equipment and PV system can achieve the highest efficiency. However, this situation also increases the potential lightning risk. When lightning strikes, downstream components, such as connectors, inverters and control instruments, are often destroyed by lightning current in addition to battery panel components. In order to ensure the normal operation of the photovoltaic system, it is particularly important to install surge protective devices at key locations of the photovoltaic system.


For photovoltaic power generation system, Reske launched a surge protector dedicated to photovoltaic. The photovoltaic surge protector is in a high resistance state under normal conditions. When over-voltage occurs in the system, the Reske LM-PVD series photovoltaic special surge protector is turned on in nanoseconds. The surge energy is introduced to the ground through the grounding line, and the amplitude voltage is clamped within the safe and normal range of the equipment. At the same time, the surge energy is introduced to the ground through the grounding line. After the discharge of the surge energy, the surge protector quickly recovers to the high resistance state, thus ensuring the normal operation of the photovoltaic system.
